Steeped about five minutes and the earthy, bitter depth really comes through—it’s my weekday afternoon pick-me-up when I want to skip coffee. The loose leaf format makes it easy to brew a second, weaker cup afterward.

The earthy bitterness is exactly what I needed to replace my morning coffee, and a short 7-minute steep gives just the right kick. My afternoon slump has disappeared since I started drinking this tea.

I've been steeping this for about 5 minutes and the earthy bitterness mellows into a surprisingly smooth finish. Definitely helps me power through that afternoon slump without the jitters.
